Hi Rox! The TP/BNC combo means you'll get cable adapters for both 10baseT (Ethernet) and 10base2 (Thinnet). Note the 10! That means 10 megabit Ethernet, the old slow version. The 10/100 adapter will connect to both types of Ethernet: 10 megabit and the faster 100 megabit. I'd recommend going with the 10/100 just so that you can be compatible with everyone. And we all want that!

HTH!

>Hey I'm looking to buy a new notebook PC. If I get a NIC included with the package deal, it's a whole lot cheaper than pickig one up later on. I got 4 choices to pick from, I already threw out 3COM twisted pair & IBM token ring cards (< g > I know atleast that much). This leaves:

"It is an important and popular fact that things are not always what they seem. For instance, on the planet Earth, man had always assumed that he was more intelligent than dolphins because he had achieved so much -- the wheel, New York, wars and so on -- whilst all the dolphins had ever done was muck about in the water having a good time. But conversely, the dolphins had always believed that they were far more intelligent than man -- for precisely the same reasons." - Douglas Adams
