You'll want to rewrite the SPs. The syntax ij just different enough to make you need to do this.
Using that very same configuration here (SQL 7.0 & VFP SP3) I can assure you it works well. Actually IMO it works better than well because now we can put the processing where we want.
In my case I have a VFP desktop calling a VFP DLL running under MTS which instantiates and calles a SQL SP. Works like a charm and it's fast.
The thing you want to make sure of is that you have the VFP SP3 installed (this is for lurkers).
