I'm currently working on an app in which the users asked if they could view the grid with alternating color lines, like a ledger. This capability is already available thru the grid builder, but it sets the dynamic backcolor based on the record number. That's all fine and good if you only view the grid in record number order, but when you use other indexes, it's a mess.

Does anyone have a good workaround for this? This app will be used by several people, and will likely get pretty large. I'd hate to have to do something like adding a 'sequence' field and renumbering it every time someone wants to see it in a different order. It seems like there's probably something I can do that I just haven't thought of yet. (I hope.)
