>>In the 'old days', we bought user packs of standard edition FP (2.x,3) for non-programmers, for cheap prices. Now they are becoming obsolete with vfp5 (and future pro editions) on the market. Does anyone know if there ever will be another standard edition available for casual users?

Well, yes...but we have a number of people somewhat familiar with FP who got used to doing fairly simple queries, reports, etc. (they still use 2.6 for this). It seems kind of an overkill to throw the vfp pro edition at them...besides, I don't like the idea of pushing Access in my office (s)
