When a relationship is set movement of the record pointer in the parent moves the record pointer in the child but not the reverse (as in the commandment to obey your parents). In order to get the child back in sync (after the record pointer has been moved in the child manually) you must move the record pointer in the parent. This includes moving to the current record in the parent as in
GOTO RECNO('aliasofparent') IN aliasofparent
if the child table is the currently selected table.
