Thanks for the reply, this worked perfectly.
I came across another question today. I have a textbox control based on ctextbox of ccontrols. If the control source is a one character text field, the tab key will skip right over this field. I looked in the GotFocus event of the super class and there is some code to solve a similar problem (I think in VFP5). Anyway, if I put dummy code in the GotFocus event of my control, the tab key will stop. So maybe this code in the parent class is no longer needed?
