Greetings!

I developed a personnel system in FPW26 some years ago for county government while I was employed there. It maintained such things as employee information, time cards, time away, and provided canned and custom reports, with various levels of security.

With the experience I gained, and the features I designed, I'm thinking about bringing it up to Visual FoxPro standards and making it available to small businesses, in which I could customize it to their needs if necessary. Before going too far, I'm wondering if there is even a market for such a thing.

I've searched the web a found a few other systems, and they appear to be quite good, and quite expensive, with features that many businesses might never need. I'm aware that there are a number of high-end and low-end systems that I can't find, too.

What I'd like to know is whether any of you think there is a small business need for a basic system to maintain employee information. I'd appreciate any input.
