The rate is what you value your services. Never base your prices on what others charge. It is kind of like golf. Never make a club selection based on what the other guy used. I have seen rates as low as $35/hour. I have seen rates as high as $2,000 per day. That is a wide spectrum.

Determine what your time is worth, and charge accordingly.
