I am designig an application that would require to connect to distant tables. The main idea of the app is a store manager that has many small stores (4-5). Each stores makes a weekly inventory. The manager wolud like to retreive these inventory results within his head office.

I was thinking of using the win98 DialUp netwotking and make a kind of class of it. What I want to do is to pass the store areacode and phone number to windows dialup networking as parameters in order to connect to the remote computer.

Is there a way to subclass the windows dialup networking or is there an existing Activex control that would do the job. If not, can I use win API ?
