Thanks, George! I think SROWS() was what I was looking for. I just plumb didn't find it the function in my searches. Interesting it doesn't come up in help when searching on rows. :-(

I was fine getting the sysmetric() and of course the control's absolute position, but coming up with an SROWS() was just a PIA, frankly.

>Well, as a start you'd used SYSMETRIC() to get the height and width of the screen, then use SROWS() and SCOLS() to get the number of screen rows and columns (if _SCREEN is maximized). Divide the height and width by the rows and columns to get the number of pixels for each. This help?
