For those of you who've helped in the past. This is the same combolist box I've been having trouble with over the past couple weeks.

The combolist selects a work order. rowsourcetype is FIELDS, controlsource is NONE and BOUNDTO is .F. InteractiveSearch is enabled. Most of the controls on the form are textboxes bound to fields of the table ordered by the work order key.

On a very (very,very...) intermittant basis, an operator may enter a valid key in the combolist, followed by hitting the ENTER key and all of the textboxes, save one, show the correct data. The incorrect one, a character field, displays the contents of the same field in the next record. The problem is easily cleared by dropping down the combolist, selecting another key, then reselecting the key of interest.

Please let me emphasize how intermittant this is. It's happened about 4 or 5 times in the week or so that my new form has been in use. This is one of those insidious problems that are hard to repeat but have critical consequences.

Other aspects that could be factors.

(1) - table of interest is on a server (but all DB transfers are handled in local mode. Table is specified in the DE, but actually opened in the form.load so that I can change the database property at runtime.

(2) - table of interest is pessimistic row buffered (yes, I know the recommendation is to use optimistic. But pessimistic shouldn't cause this problem, so unless you think it might be causing this problem...let's not have a discussion about the merits of pessimistic vs. optimistic)
(3) I am working in a multiuser environment although this problem has occured when only one person had the table of interest open.

I am going to try to trap for the control value being different from the table value after a refresh. But if anyone out there has seen anything like this before please let me know.
