Man, this is wierd. We have a copy of 3.01 reader installed here, and there is no select text option.

As far as scanned pdfs, this isn't always true either. The Acrobat scanner capture incorporates OCR and converts recognizable characters into text and only stores the illegible ones to pictures.

>Yep. I have 3.01 installed right now. I just opened up a PDF sent along with my HP CD-Writer. Under the Tools menu there's a Select Text option. I can select text, copy, and then open and paste it in Word. It even get's across the font difference.
