>>>One question though: How do you handle the situation when there are multiple forms up? Which menu do you return to? (OK, so it's 2 ?'s) We used to only return the menu when the final form was closed, and we returned the menu to that point.

>>Hey, the thing is only half a day old. Don't know - just tried it and it worked. I guess each form would restore the menu position where it was called from (if any), or the last menu position - depending on the behavior of the popup() function, when does it reset etc. I haven't played with that function for more than a year. We could add a couple of properties here, like restoring the popup only if the form was modal, or if the form is the only active form (apart from toolbars) etc etc. This is just a skeleton.

>Almost all of the options available for returning to the menu could/should be user-selectable. I really haven't thought about it much in the last couple of years. The only behavior that I think would be mandatory would be that the menu could not be brought back if there was some other active form present, but it could be brought back if the only other forms were minimized. We used to un-minimize the next form brought back if it was the last one available, but I guess that could be an option, too. Keep us informed on your progress...
Will do. You just expressed my thoughts in a more systematic way. I'll probably add a couple of properties and add some scanning of _screen.forms, to see if there are other forms open.
