I have a .prg and .vcx called hacktool. I've used it successfully to change the baseclass on a form as well as in a .vcx. The code associated with various events remains as long as the new baseclass has similar methods. I got it from somewhere else and will have to check to see if I can pass it on. As Nancy suggested, I'd also recommend sub-classing the VFP controls without any changes.
