If it (or some other language) was used in the properties field of the vcx (not in method code), where the properties themselves are defined, it could be accessed at design time. This would also allow for subclasses to inherit the property behaviors, along with the properties.
I doubt that any method developed by the VFP team would come in the form of a function (like my example), more likely some other special text in the properties field, or one of the reserved fields. A function I guess is misleading, because it would never actually get run, just parsed by the form or class designer.
