It is our current fax server. I only started working here mid-June, and installed it shortly after I got here, so we haven't been using it for long. Our current setup is an Access DB, faxing through WinFaxPro (9.0), so it's not integrated with VFP (yet, I'm working on it!) We have 15 workstations, but not all of them use the fax server.
I've got mixed feelings about WinFax. It seems to work well until the people up front get impatient. They will send a fax without checking to see if WinFax is connected with the server, which corrupts the WinFax DB's on each workstation each time that happens. Or when my boss gets impatient with the server and re-boots, without telling anyone, which freezes the WinFax connections on each of the workstations. Imagine the headache when people continue to fax without checking to see if the faxes are going through. It gets to be a mess, and I spend half the day restoring the WinFax status databases on each of the workstations a couple times a month.

If the people using it are computer literate, I think it's a good program. But there are some "features" of the software that make it un-fool proof as a fax server.

Don't know if that helps any...
