>Did you set the columns current control to be your editbox? if you did, it should scroll up automatically. If you are still looking at the current control as a textbox, it will scroll to the right.

It will also still scroll to the right if it's an editbox, but you don't have the row height of the grid large enough to display the scrollbars for the editbox. If you can see the scrollbars, it should work as you would expect an editbox to work.
