Dear HTH:
Thanks for the clue.
The scenario is that most of the tables are in company subdirectories and are opened exclusively as only one user at a time will be accessing the company subdirectories.
How would I implement your suggestion? Once I finished designing the form, would I delete the tables from the database envireonment for that form and issue the old fashioned USE table1, SET ORDER TO TAG whatever, SET RELATION TO whatever, etc. in the LoadEvent for the form?
