To add long name space support to a Netware 3.x and 4.x have your network admin issue the following command from the system console:


add name space OS2 to volume <>

where <> is probably SYS and is dependant on your server being able to locate and load 0S2.NAM module (which has never been a problem in my experience)

To verify that the long file name support has been added to your volume issue the following command from the system console:

volumes

this should list OS2 in addition to DOS as an installed name space
