We got it working in less than a day with Rick's book. Pulled down his framework and used some of the code as is. What a value!
We're in FoxIsapi and have our own rudimentary server answering requests about member status from FrontPage 98. Since we send back HTML, as Rick models, the answer pops up in Explorer slick as a whistle.
Whether we should have used ASP instead of FoxIsapi, I don't know. It sure feels good to be writing the server code in the familiar turf of VFP after wading through the installation steps. Rick was one step ahead of us all the way. We'd see something and ask the next question only to find the answer on the next page. Thanks, Rick.
Next is batch requests.
