Hi Amanda and Bill,
I wrote an old FPW 2.6/DDE version that ran the mail merge for the Indy office, as well as VFP/COM versions for Topeka and Frankfort.

Make sure of the following:
1. The path to the data source must be exactly the same for both machines.
2. The ODBC drivers for VFP tables must be installed, if the tables are in fact VFP (as opposed to FP 2.X DBase tables).
3. No one else can have the data source open when Word accesses the table.
4. Could possibly be a service pack problem. Make sure you have the latest Office Service Packs. Evidently there are problems caused by VS Service Pack. They are detailed in http://www.microsoft.com/data/download2.htm but I am not familiar with the problem yet.
