>A sorta related question: FoxPro Advisor advises basing all classes, forms, etc on the ffc _base, etc classes rather than the built in foundation classes, but when I build a form with the form designer, it automatically bases the objects I put on the form on the, say, editbox class rather than the _editbox in the _base.vcx. Any way I can change this behavior in the builder, or would I have to write the code rather than use the builder to do this? TIA.

First, when you change subjects, you should really start another thread so others can benefit from interacting. :-) You need to go to Tools/Options, select the Forms tab, then in the Templates section check the Form check box, then choose the form class you want used as the template. Click Set as Default if you want it to persist between VFP sessions.
