I would listen to what Craig says. An alternative I've used is to just add something like:

space-hyphen-space

to the form base caption (either before or after it), and then your specific text. We use that for displaying a name in a details form, for example. You see that in various windows apps, so doing it that way is easy and not really non-standard...
