One of my clients has been phasing in Pentiums to replace their aging 486's but they still have some 486/33 and 66's.

When I first loaded my latest update (vfp 6) a couple of them were real dogs. I had them reformat the HD and only add my program along with win95 (they have 16mb memory). Operation improved dramatically...still not in the class of a Pentium though.

The program takes 20-30 sec. to load. Once loaded, the forms take maybe a maximum of 10 sec.

Is this a normal situation or can execution be optimized ? There is such a huge difference when running the same program in a Pentium 200 Mhz PC.
