Hi Bob -

Are you sure your not looking to do a heterogenous query? My understanding is that linked servers are remote SQL Server servers, not other data sources. Via a heterogeneous query, you able to hook a VFP/FP datasource into SQL Server, then query that datasource through SQL Server.

If that what your looking for, check MSDN and the keyword: heterogeneous (if I am spelling that correctly <g>)
