Bill,
This isn't a VFP solution to your problem but if you can't find anything else, look at the Data Transformation Service that ships with MS SQL Server 7.0. It's awesome for converting almost any source to any destination. You can save any transformations you build and set them up on automatic scheduling. Very powerful tool.
