>I have a icon on my start menu. It runs vfp5 and the config.fpw file which calls a program. the program attempts to open a resource file and if it errors because file access denied it opens the next resource file until it finds one that's not used. I was wondering if there is a better way to do it. -jack
What do you mean "it errors because file access denied"? Are you trying to run multiple copies of VFP? You still need separate resource files, even to truly do that. Are you trying to share resource files on a network? Your resource files would probably be better off as local files to your workstation.
