See my comments about LoadCursor in the "How to change and how to reset mouse cursors (pointers)" FAQ. There is a bug related to this function on Win NT. You have to use a copy of the cursor loaded by LoadCursor (see also that FAQ).

MSN says that LoadCursor has been superseded by the LoadImage function.

Please let me know if this solved the problem.
