Hi,

I am trying to deploy an ActiveX control via a CAB file over the Internet.

In a basic HTML document I'm using the OBJECT tags to point to the object (.cab) file in question. I set up the CODEBASE option to point to my web server.

Whenever I open hte browser and call the HTML page the object is not being seen. I thought the browser would ask me if I wanted to download the file via the CAB? Am I missing something?

Can anyone explain to me how this works or should work...
