My story is pretty much the same as Cetin's.

The biggest thing for me is that it's an honor. I found it overwhelming and humbling at the same time, especially considering the reputations of those who were already MVPs.

The qualifications part is pretty much as described in the on-line brochure. And, yes, Microsoft personnel track you.
