>>It's always been my practice to make sure that these sorts of objects are created in a specific order. For example, say I want to have a TreeView load pictures from a ImageList which gets them from a PicClip control. I create the PicClip first, the ImageList second, and the TreeView last. This was when the parent form is instantiated, the PicClip initialize first, then the ImageList, etc. Saves lots of headaches.

>Incredible! I have been getting the 'C...5' error with just a simple Treeview and Imageview and after reading your comments I went back and deleted the treeview and re-added it to make sure it instantiated AFTER the imageview and so far NO C5 Errors!!!

Kevin,

You're quite welcome.

BTW, after reading the date on my original message, I realized that I was working on the Obj2Bmp project at the time, that I recently uploaded to the files section. I also got some C5 errors as you did. However, it was from me doing something stupid.
