I went to buy some good books on FoxPro and had to go to FOUR bookstores to find them, but every bookstore had VB books. Even Barnes and Noble did not have any FoxPro books.

What a shame. I personally think VFP is better than VB.

>>I agree with you too Jeff :) I've been using Foxpro since 1.02 almost 10 years ago so I love VFP. Through the years I've tried just about all development packages: VB, PB, Access, Paradox, Magic, SQL Windows, Superbase, ObjectVision, etc. not to mention all other xBase products. For some obvious reason we all know I've always fallen back to FP/VFP to do "real" work and have gotten away with it.

>>However, IMHO, writting's on the wall: VB/SQL/MTS/nTier is the future for corporate-level apps. Not to say VFP can't do this but it's simply not the direction decision-makers are making or even aware of sometimes. Although in my case I have the ultimate decision to pick the tool, I cringe when I say most all my future projects will be in VB/SQL.

Prayer of St Ephrem:
O Lord and Master of My Life,
Take from me the spirit of sloth, meddling, ambition and vain talk.
But give me a spirit of prudence, humility, patience and love.
Yes Lord and King grant me to see my own sins and faults
and not judge my brother.
For You are Blessed Forever and Ever. Amen.
