Data type mismatch error

In my application, I display a group of command buttons on 1 page of a pageframe. The button named "new", when clicked, opens the various files needed to continue processing, and a "do form ptdata" command is issued. The form "ptdata' is a formset with 7 forms. When the do form command is issued, I receive the "data type mismatch" error message. I then press OK and all processing continues without a problem.

I have removed the do form ptdata command and run the application, but do not receive that error. So, it seems there is an error in the form "ptdata".

Further confusing me is the fact that I have an error-trapping routine built in to the application, and it appears to trap any other error. But, it does not trap this particular "data type mismatch" error.

I have reviewed the methods for each of the objects on each of the forms in the formset but cannot find any places where there is a data type mismatch.

I have validated the database.

Does anyone have any ideas on what I can do?

Thanks,

Alan
