>>>>>Why don't one of you guys write a letter to the editor of VBPJ and ask the author of the salary survey to clarify his statement about VFP?
>>>I would be surprised if you even receive a response. Somebody wrote that you have to look where the information came from. I go to devx sometimes and also had a subscription to VBPJ, and when articles talk about Visual Studio or any of the new MS technologies there's never a mention of VFP. Like if it didn't exist. Now that it gets a mention, it is a negative one. Not surprised at all.

>>I have seen Letters to the editor of VBPJ that ask about VFP. The editor stated that the reason why VBPJ did not contain articles on VFP is because the majority of their readers use VB.
>Yes, of course. I meant when they have articles about ADO, for example. They mention VB, VJ and VI, but they never mention VFP. As if you can't use ADO with VFP. I wasn't looking for VFP articles when I subscribed.
The reason is the majority of their readers are using these tools and not VFP. Why take the time to write about how VFP uses ADO when the readers are not using the tool.
