I agree but DEVX isn't the only one guilty of overlooking VFP for all it's worth. MS, although like Craig have said have gotten a lot better marketing it, has over the years done a terrible job IMHO. If they had done a little better job marketing when they aquired Foxpro from Fox Software years ago things would be much different. It comes down to the perhaps the best marketing company in technology not marketing a great product like it could of.

>>I guess since I started this whole thing, I'll do it. However, I don't expect a quick, if any response from them. I'll keep everyone posted.

>>>>Another thing I just thought of...how did the "survey" base it's findings in VFP salaries? Are there numbers to back them up? Remember that it is coming from a VB magazine, who would have a definate interest in more people using VB.
>>>
>>>Why don't one of you guys write a letter to the editor of VBPJ and ask the author of the salary survey to clarify his statement about VFP?
>I would be surprised if you even receive a response. Somebody wrote that you have to look where the information came from. I go to devx sometimes and also had a subscription to VBPJ, and when articles talk about Visual Studio or any of the new MS technologies there's never a mention of VFP. Like if it didn't exist. Now that it gets a mention, it is a negative one. Not surprised at all.
It's "my" world. You're just living in it.
