Hey, you helped solve a different problem a day later, anyway :) I just installed VS6 on the NT machine, opened vfp, and didn't like the colors. So I changed the display, but the vfp toolbar did not change. Moving the toolbar triggered the change to be effected, a refresh of sorts, after remembering your reply yesterday.

I'm finding quite a number of little problems in NT, all over the Windows map, not just in vfp...
