Wasn't that Kansas, the state, rather than K.C.? IAC, IMO the scariest story of the week... more so than the shooter in L.A.

It's the one that got triggered by the Great Alaskan Earthquake a long time ago and made the Mississippi run crazy. It's said that if the New Madrid 'goes' then it could be the costliest earthquake ever because there is NO preparation for it (buildings and emergency services)... and it'll affect St. Louis, Memphis, and then on down the Mississippi. Of course, you could come over the other side of the state where I am (SW Missouri) and live in Tornado Alley where Tornadoes are just a welcomed afternoon breeze. <g> We've had 3 in the immediate area in the past 2 months and I've seen dozens in my life.
