>I need to print 2 different reports (each has a full-page detail band) -- one report on the front of the page, the other on the back. The first is in portrait mode, the second in landscape (which is why they're separate reports in the first place). If I set the first (or both) report to print duplex, but only print the one page from the first report, will VFP and/or Windows force a complete page eject before starting with the second report, or will it/they cooperatively continue to print on the second side of the first sheet?

Each report will do an auto page eject, so you'll get two separate pages even with duplexing. Mixing Portrait and Landscape is even a little tricky in products like Word, which is more adept at such things. There still may be a way to do it with some vfp print commands, though, I'm only stating the normal behavior to get you past your first hope :)
