How do I get context-sensitive help with HTML Help in a VFP runtime application? My Context-sensitive help, or even calling the help-file, won't run in my runetime exe without a complete VFP 6.0 installation....
I’ve made a Help-system for a VFP 6.0-application using HTML Help Workshop 1.2. Including context-specific help works fine, as long as I’m running the compiled executable (and here also run after a Setup) in a full VFP 6.0 environment. Distributing the help-project to a Win95 system, without complete VFP, won’t bring up the Help-project pressing F1 in that same executable (installed with Setup) that works just fine in the full VFP environment. I’ve checked that all the help-install files has been distributed, and well installed in Win95 (Hhctrl.ocx, Itss.dll, Itircl.dll and hh.exe). I’ve also run the hhupd.exe on the Win95-computer. Pressing F1 doesn’t give any error, it just doesn’t call the chm.-project. Opening the –chm-file manually works fine. To solve the problem, I installed VFP 6.0. After that F1 and context-specific help worked as expected.
Any idea why this happens? Do I need to install any specific Active-X-component under Win95 to get HTML Help working under Win95?
Thanks in advance
