Thanks. I was not on a private session, and am still stuck. Because I live an hour from Carlsbad I would like to explore using you as a resource (tutor) to get me over my initial hangups that are blocking me from using VFP 6.0. I have written probably 100,000 lines of Clipper code but find that I can get a very short distace into foxpro before what I am trying to do doesn't work, even though I think i am following all the rules. Please contact me at jdtelder@pe.net, or 909-672-0505 so we can explore the possibilities. Thanks.

>>I have a form containing several controls that is working. I established a Data Environment containing three tables. My SQL statement uses the three files to create an output table. Calling the report from a command button results in errors that the output table can't be found. I try to put it in the report Data Environment, but that doesn't help. I have tried various combinations of code, but nothing seems to work. Where should I mention the table other than the output of the SQL? I have spent 20 hours of trial and error and haven't found the answer yet.

>If you've defined the report with a private datasession, there's no way the report can see the cursor. Make sure the report is not using a private datasession.
