Don't empty the entire contents of the EXPR field of the first record in the FRX. Usually, just delete the first 3 line of the EXPR which are the ones printer specific. This would leave lines like the ORIENTATION, PAPERSIZE, DEFAULTSOURCE, PRINTQUALITY, etc.
