Hello Mike:

Yes, that will work.
But, I really didn't want the user to be part of one of those.

I did find a script at swynk.com for 6.5 that does the trick.
I haven't bothered to find out if it works in 7.0.
It just cycles through all tables and views in the database and grants the rights.
