Thanks for the reply! I will check into this. I was considering using OLE DB to access a SQL Server backend but don't really have the time to devote to this without being sure if this is a viable solution around the 255 character limitation. For background, I am trying to allow updates to db fields in VFP (but would be willing/able to upsize to SQL Server) from a web-based front end.
