>I agree with you and check out my tag line. As I mentioned in another message about this subject there is an article in August 1999 issue of VBPJ titled "Why VB Gets No Respect." The main reason I won't use VB is that it isn't a data language. Yes, I know you can develop database applications with VB but it is an add-on. Why not use a database tool to begin with? If I was developing COM objects or just needed a front end GUI then VB might be the tool of choice.
