I've always been amazed with people who wanted to learn maths or programming the same way they learned geography or history. It's not a cookbook, full of ready recipies - even when you know them all, you'll still have to invent some of your own, do some research, make some mistakes, try this and that, and build up the base of your intuition. For all those who think there's a "technology to learn" in programming - there is some, but if you rely on the ready recipies, you're learning how to be obsolete soon. There's nothing completely finished here, anything can use extra brain efforts.
