Hello everyone. I have just had a wonderful
experiance. I created a wonderful pack and reindex proggie, with bells and whistles like mutiple progress meters on subsystems. And a wonderful message system when completed... :) However, due to past experience with expanding cdx's I issued a DELE TAG ALL for every table in the project, using a nice developer updatable table that tells me the tables and the INDEX ON expressions for each. Well, it worked liked a dream and as I reran it for all the subsystem heads they OOhhed and aahhed and said that I was the sunshine... I destroyed ALL the RI in ALL the subsytems... Oh yes, as might guess I am the popular one today. Fortunately, I am very retentive about backups. So data is restored but it was still a big pain.
The question here is, How to avoid CDX expansion(while retaining RI).
