Once again, this is kind of a non-VFP question.

One of our users is trying to connect to our RAS server via dial-up. She has NetBEUI installed and TCP-IP, but she doesn't have an IP address. I can't seem to find the DHCP service on the server but it should be assigning an IP address to each user as they dial in.

The error message she is getting is "Remote Host is currently unavailable". The problem is specific to her computer because other users are connecting the same using the same method.

She can actually connect via dial-up, then she attempts to run a datatransfer utility (written in VFP). The program attempts to make an FTP connection and I think this is where the error is occurring. When I check the Remote Service Administrator on the server, it shows that she is connected and her computer name is indicated, however there isn't any IP address showing up.

I know that she doesn't have any internet service and she doesn't have an IP address on her computer. Is she required to have one?

I am a little unfamiliar with the code for this program as I didn't write it. Any suggestions on what this problem might be. Sorry for the lack of details....
