I implemented the suggestion is Thread #251405 regarding the K in format and SelStart=0; SelLength = this.maxlength. and SelectOnEntry=.F. (default)

They did not solve my problem. When a textbox is "SelectedOnEntry" AND the data in the controlsource has every character position filled, the right arrow advances to the next field, unless I press {home} or {end} keys.

Is there anyway to defeat this behavior short of removing the
selectonentry = .T.?

IMHO, a user should not have to realize that all character postions are filled, so they have to press an additional key to change a character in a field.
