My guess ... they don't want to tick people off and lose them to a non-MS product. I think they will just slowly hope that VFP people begin to attrition away to SQL and then VB or whatever is next up their sleeve ....

Also .... and this is a bit of a turn of this thread ... but I firnly believe we will see OOP in all it's glory in VB (or it's descendant) within the next year or two ... so we will lose that advantage.
