I have learned some French (2 genders) and am learning German (3 genders) now. I can tell you one vast improvement in English was dropping of those darn genders from the language. It makes nouns easier, which in turn makes verbs and adjectives easier. Would I guess correctly that Dutch also has 3 genders?
